Happy New Year Everyone! I can't believe this is my first post of the new year and my last post on blogger.com.

I know I mentioned that my family was coming for the holidays and everything went really well, unfortunately since I frequently had my hands full in the kitchen and otherwise I didn't get to take any pictures of the festivities. Then it was new years and we had friends over the night before which was wonderful, but again, no pictures.

New Years Eve I began my big project of redesigning my blog for Wordpress. What a challenge! For anyone who doesn't know or completely understand CSS it's like walking through a maze in the dark while brig guided by something that makes you feel like you're on Jeopardy. I'm sorry for that, but its generally lost on me. I have been spoiled by the ease of blogger and their HTML language templates.

This redesign is the main reason why I haven't posted anything yet this year. All of my energy has gone into this new design, which I hope I eventually love more than my blogger template, as for now I'm a bit too close, and a bit too tired to love it.

So my last post on blogger is a bit of a goodbye lumped with a hello to new things. A brand new Under A Peacock Moon will be up soon, looking worlds different from this one. Also, obviously we're all living in a new year and enjoying the possibilities that come with that, AND this is the first time I'll be doing a blog giveaway - kind of a going away present to my blogspot blog.

The giveaway is for free tickets to the Home and Remodeling Show coming up at the Dulles Expo center, January 20-22. I have 10 tickets to give away and the way to win is pretty simple:

This week visit Peacock Moon Interiors on Facebook and like our page. Then write a short post about why you'd like to go to the show, or a project you'd like to work on in your home.

Pretty simple right! I'll be picking the winners on Friday the 13th so I can get your tickets out to you next week.

I'm really excited about this and hope to do more giveaways in the future. If you have any questions feel free to send me an email (peacockmooninteriors@gmail.com) or a tweet me ( @pmidesign ), or write a message to Peacock Moon Interiors on Facebook.

I can't wait to hear what you're looking forward to working on this year!

Thank you for the follow on Twitter! Happy New Year!
It's so fun to change up the design of ones website, isn't it? I revamped mine recently, too :)

Yes, it' definitely been a challenge. I'm pretty excited for the new design. It's something completely unlike this one. Thanks for leaving a comment, and please check back in a few days for the link to the new site :-)
